You’ve seen them. Arrogant bully-like bosses who behave as though they are your superior. They have one “rule” and you have another. As employees shuffle in and out they become the quiet bottleneck prohibiting real growth. But, no one says anything and the beat goes on.
A leader beyond all the rhetoric and much of it is really just talk, at the end of the day isn’t any better than a front-line employee. My grandmother would say, “What is good for the goose is good for the gander.” A rule for an employee must also apply to it’s leadership. Frankly, I detest the word leadership now assigned to any idiot with a title. Your firm is no exception. If you think I’m wrong look around. You’ve made the same comments yourself.
Organizations like MITRE, U.S. Army, Whirlpool, Standard Bank, and Iomega go to Jim Woods when they need a keynote speaker or workshop leader.
